It is created with the aim to become an international meeting point of reference in the field of waste and energy recovery
The Consorci per al Tractament de Residus Sòlids Urbans del Maresme and the Agència de Residus de Catalunya organize the Recuwatt Congress, to be held in Mataró from 24 to 25 March 2011. It is created with the aim to become an international meeting point of reference in Spain for the professionals of the public and private sector related to waste management and energy recovery.
The new Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/CE) is a legal and strategic milestone in waste management in the EU. The objectives and determinations of the Directive generate a crucial moment for the new legal approach derived from its conversion, as well as the planning and revision of the corresponding national and regional plans.
For this reason, the Congress intends to open an objective and professional debate on every aspect related to waste management, highlighting the circumstances of all kinds that are given rise on energy recovery in Spain and Europe.
The programme, objectives, and information on the Congress is available on www.recuwatt.com
